the bedframe is made of Sy.leather.. looks quite alright but if compare to Severus leather storage bedframe,n the PAtent Bedframe, Severus bedframe is better..

forgot abt the name but if im nt wrong, it is under something like 'Dutch' series.. latex..The Bedframe can negotiate but the 8"Individual Barrel Pockected spring with SY.latex mattress, Best Deal is 1299.. the saleperson told me tht this is the most cheapest price i can get..

They only sell mattress. Since they are the Distributor, they have almost the wholeseries of maxcoil mattress displayed at the Expo..

yep.. but i have confidence on the bedframe as it is quite shaky when i shake the headboard on other brand bedframe.. but the Severus bedframe from Australia are firm n not shakey at all... For the Severus Carnac ,other than Simmon bakcare series 4, tht is the least motion transfer, non disturb sleep with comfort tht i have tried so far...

Hi all,

Juz wanna share my super BAD experience with all of you on Morris Lifestyle, today I was stood up by Morris again and this is the second time.

First delivery was scheduled on 30July and we are waiting happily for the furnitures to come in. We waited from 11am to 5pm, all my other furnitures came in except Morris. At 5pm, my hubby called up the lady to enquire what time my dinning table is coming..her response " ohh..my driver forget to load your table, can re-schedule again?" We let go and forgive her coz she keep apologising to us.

Eventually we re-schedule to come in today 12th Sept(giving them more than enough time to prepare), yesterday we call up Morris to double confirm the delivery, guess what the same lady says " hmm..ur dinning table was still not ready yet"

My gosh..imagine my horror, both my hubby and I was so angry coz if we never call up to check, we will be stood up by them again(anyway indeed its no show again tonite), moreover we have taken leave to receive the furniture. We have no choice but to bring this matter to the sales person to resolve this problem who service us and this escalate all the way up to their Logistic Manager..It took them one whole day to resolve and respond to us. Finally the Logistic Manager call me at 7pm(11Sept) and ask me to give them a chance and he will give me a satisfactory answer by today(12Sept).

Today(12Sept), we received a call from their girl and CONFIRMED delivery between 4pm - 6pm and thought it was resolved by the Logistic Manager. We waited patiently and even call up the lady on 5pm today to confirm delivery and she say YES. We waited in vain from 4pm - 7pm and its no show from them again. We call the sales person to tell them we are very upset and wanted refund since they not interested in our business.

Till now, we have yet to receive a satisfactory answer from Morris and both my hubby and I decided to ask for refund and will NOT GET ANYTHING FROM MORRIS ANYMORE.

My personal advise, think twice before getting from them as they are really irresponsible.I really regret making purchases from them

Hi, I bought my Max Coil Mattress together with a super chio bed frame from Morris Lifestyle. Price is irresistably cheaper compared to several shops I visited @ IMM. Both items arrive on time and at good condition. Highly recommend to all those out there looking for mattress and bedframe.

i think source of origin is not more important than the QC, quality of material used, and the workmanship. Do you know that Cottage Craft's furnitures all imported from Indonesia? But designed and managed from UK/Scotland?

anyone purchased mattresses from Mattress Atrium b4? any feedback?

i just bought a mattress and bedframe from them and i felt uneasy after that. the brand of the mattress is Princebed with the model "Ceara". I paid a total of $1380. anyone heard of it and any feedback?

Actually it was "love at first lie" when i lied on the bed. the salesman (thick eyebrow guy who claimed to be the boss) was polite and patience with me in chosing the mattress. thus i decided to get it even b4 i did any research on the bed. my initially plan was dunlopillo after visiting few shops.

however, after i left the shop and did a search online for "princebed ceara mattress", i did not find any results! the salesman initially told us that the bed can only be delivered after mid dec, but after i told him i need the bed late nov, he said "ok, can arranged. have a shipment in 19th nov thus can give us the bed in late nov".

and now i realised he DID NOT write the tentative delivery date on my invoice.

i am so scared and confused now. can anyone advise?

hi l!ttle Pr!nc3ss

wat size and wat bedfame u buy from him ? i came across tis guy who claim to b the boss. he really hv gd sale talk. any way the mattress u buy is locally made not any else outside Sin. the factory is in Senako Area. u able to find in their web site.mattress can be del the nexy working day if u request....
Most importantly is u and yr parnther find comfort on the mattress. branding is not important.

hi silverwolf

i bought a queen size mattress from him. the frame is called "Rome" design. i am not particular abt where the bed is manufactured, more particular whether will they cock up my stuff. i bought their bed bcoz i like it, thus brand doesn't matter.

i just feel insecure when i cannot find the model of the bed anywhere online.

MISLEADING SALESMAN EXPOSED!!!

SEVERUS® MATTRESS AND STORAGE BED - Mattress Atrium @ The Furniture Mall #03-02/27/28

His sales presentation was impressive, convincing, professional and good product knowledge. As he claimed that their products are all imported.

I was convinced by his presentation and purchased the Severus® Ceara Amenity Series 2 Ortho Firm Barrel pocketed spring 9” mattress and Severus® Lastoria Design with full PU Leather Storage Bed. Fully paid on the same day.

The mattress was delivered on 15.8.08 and turn out the brand is Princebed instate of Severus® Mattress.

I found that something is fishsy about the deal and decided to check on the internet for information on the products.

I called the salesperson the next day for a full refund and he said the boss is glad to refund the amount only for the storage bed and not the mattress as it had been delivered and there is nothing misleading.

He said that nothing can be done as you have signed the sales invoice as what was stated. (cause I was convinced and trusted (deceived) him and didn’t take a good look at what he wrote in it).

I confirm that the mattress is NOT imported from UK or Australia as he claimed. This time, he changes his tag, saying the parts are imported and assemble in Singapore.

He refuses to admit his mispresentation, continues to lie and wanted to turn nasty.

Good thing my conversation with him was made through sms and recorded as proof. Now he has nowhere to hide.

DON’T LET DISHONEST SALESPERSON and/or COMPANY RIPPED YOU OFF.

Don’t let the innocence consumer suffer by this kind of practices. There is a big difference in branding and manufacturing. Let’s put a stop and nail down those that practices mispresentation and deceit to get sales.

If you are looking for a comfortable bed to sleep don’t end up sleeping with discomfort.

Post your story here.

I went IMM ysterday and try on the Maxcoil Orthopedic latex mattress.
According to the salesman there, he say tat the Maxcoil Orthopedic latex mattress that we try does not have any spring. There are all latex inside and he also added latex will be good for weather like singapore (warm), becoz latex makes the whole bed cooler... is it true?

the price he quoted me is about 1480 .... EX?? I feel tat is very ex... :-( Should I continue look around dun take action too fast?

I wonder ppl who have buy and not deliver yet what will happen ???? Rite now the shop change another brand called " LOTUS " from China...

38a jalan pemimpin; i went there yesterday.
I got the Wonderest Royal Beauty collection.

Here's a little more information for good hearted people here.

From my research from several sources, Maxcoil is the main distributor for several brands in Singapore, for example Severus and Wonderest. All these brands, materials are imported into Singapore and assembled in Singapore. Hence the Cheaper price.
If u search the net for Wonderestin Australia, the series they make are not the same ones selling here. I even emailed Wonderest main office in Australia to check if all is well. They mentioned the products are not made by them However they do not have any problem in Maxcoil or even "Cheap mattress" to sell with their branding. I went to test mattress in several places like Courts and Harvey Norman. In fact, the feel is similar for locally made Wonderest and Sealy Posturepedic serie. I would not recommend taking cheap ones if u have backache problem which u will need posturepedic types to help support. For comfort i think locally made ones are still a good pick. Unless u Prefer branded Ones. :-)

Hi silverwolf,

Thanks for the contact. I have been to Jalan Pemimpin to check the prices before.. ;) I got another recommendation from my fren to buy from Dreamzzz.

I compared the prices and finally bgt from Dreamzzz an Orthorest mattress for my bro a few wks ago. If any of u are keen, u can email your enquiry to dreamzzzllp@gmail.com. But you will have to email them your preference, the brands and models u are interested in, they will then give you advice and a quote. Hope my recommendation can help u save $$! Cheers.

time to revive this thread again...

went to IMM today and saw this Max Coil brand, never heard of it before so wanted to ask for feedback here first before deciding.

So far it's the cheapest of all the other renowned brands that we've tried, but we dunno abt the quality and also whether the company will fold or not (warranty's for 12 yrs I was told).

Shop name is Unisprings, salesman was quite convincing in his talk but dunno whether trustworthy or not. Will appreciate any feedback esp from those who have bought from them before. Thanks

I just brought mine at Tampine courts Mega store at $2298.90 inclusive of $29.90 delivery.
Accordingly to the sales, they are directly from Maxcoil instead from the dealer.
The materials are actually similar except that the designs/name are different.
There are actually some display sets selling at $899 for a king size mattress.
If you don't mind, u can consider the display set.
I brought the king size maxcoil posture therapy plush king size with bedframe, headboar, 2 latex pillows and 1 mattress protector.
Their promo is similar to the one at Singapore Expo and they are supposely to have the best deal as they are directly from maxcoil.
Drop by and have a look. They have a very wide range of brands inclusive of dunpillo, slumberland, sealy, simmons consolidate all together.
If you do not mind, they have display sets selling at v cheap inclusive of sealy as well.

Hi Thomas, just to add on for your info, Maxcoil is a local company. They wont fold I guess for they are expanding infact. :-) I dont work for that company, but I am in the mattress line coincidentally.

Cheers.

Maxcoil is not a renowned brand, it is a no brand mattress.

Anybody can make a mattress that feels good in the showroom and the first 2 years. After that all bets are off. Take a look at the warranty, the warranty only covers the broken springs that protrude out.

In other words, if anything happens to the mattress you are out of luck.

So before spending your hard earned money, consider this, Maxcoil gives salespeople a $150 incentive to sell a $1599 mattress. If they can afford to give so much to the salespeople think on how much money they are actually spending on making the mattress.

maxcoil is the worst mattress ever! yes its cheap but its nt even worth it when the mattress sinks in within a year... and no warranty covers that. anybody had the same experience??

Simmons,Sealy and Serta are always safe bets, although I personally like the Posturepedic range from Sealy.

carol: omg...really? was considering to get it cos so cheap among all the other brands...now got 2nd tots le...I tot they giving 12yrs warranty??? that was what the salesman (a fat guy) at Unisprings told us...

samuel: yup but Sealy and Simmons are soooooooooooo expensive...sigh. Serta is considered cheapest among all the renowned brands but prob is, their mattress is thicker than usual so buying bedsheets will have prob next time haiz. Dunno why they wanna make their mattresses like that:-(

u have any lobangs for Sealy? cheapest I saw also around 3k+...thanks

You can try their boutique at Liang Court or Courts Megastore. I saw many mattresses at Courts when I went there last week.

Thomas: yes!! Pls don't get maxcoil my bro and sister in law bought one latex one and within 8 mths or so u can see that the material has sunken in pretty bad.N when they call up to check on the warranty they were told that warranty only covers spring prob n there's nth they can do abt it. Well I guess the price u pay gives u the quality tht is worth ... But it's cheap la like 1.1k for queen size which is much cheaper to other comparbles in e market .so can't say much if u r willing to change a mattress within a yr...

Hi All, please be aware that no brand will give you warranty other than for the spring system.

Please go to websites and look at warranty info.

Sometimes the warranty might look OK but if you look closely there may be conditions that make the warranty void.

Yea I think so Samuel that's why I think it's much more impt to commit to a good quality mattress. Def not one that sink in within a yr... Don't think my family and friends will buy a max coil no matter how cheap is it... Mayb for e maid or a guest room mattress I'll consider.

Many times we compare price for the products we wanted to buy and neglect things such as delivery. Unreliable delivery often makes the buying process an unpleasant one. I am experiencing such at the moment with Max Coil. Despite agreeing to delay the delivery time by 1 hr, i'm still waiting for the bed to arrive 1.5hrs late by now and no sight of it nor news from the delivery man although the shop says they will ring me! This is so annoying! The warehouse is at Kaki Bukit and I'm living in the east, there shouldn't be any issue with travel time right? The sales person Eric (IMM) says it's Saturday with many deliveries to make but that's not an excuse. It's about logistic planning, don't promise and can't deliver. Does it mean it's right to wait for donkey hours at home and not knowing when the bed will come or ever come.
