While the grapes for the 2006 release are from Barossa Valley in Australia, the bottling and infusion of gold flakes were done in California’s Napa Valley in US. Meanwhile, the bottle is blown by mouth and fired with gold by craftsmen in France.

Pink Gold, on the other hand, is a Vin Gris blended with Chardonnay, Viognier and Gewurztraminer grapes and fermented and aged in Hundred Acre Cabernet barrels for two months. It has garnered a strong following among women for its vibrant taste and pretty, rosy hue.
