Wedding days can be terribly stressful, especially
for the bride who will be at the centre of attraction and not to
forget, constant scrutiny from guests and the public eye! Surviving
the glare of the "spotlight" calls for good preparation and some
paranoia, which can positively save you unnecessary anxiety and added
stress. It's Made In Heaven is happy to share with you its top survival
kit items here. Get a roomy bag to house all of the below, and designate
someone to carry it for you at all times. That person may be your
bridesmaid, sister, cousin, mother or whoever will be by your side
about as much as your groom for the whole day's affair.
- Clear nail varnish to patch running panty hose; or a spare panty
hose
- Facial blotters and tissues for oily T-zone and freshening makeup
- Panadol, gastric pills and bottled water for headaches, gastric
attacks and to quench thirst
- Safety pins and scotch tape for gown or veil tears
- Lipstick and lip balm for quick touch-ups and relief from flaky,
dry lips
- Loose powder and a small brush
- An easy snack to munch on, like a cereal bar (brides'll find
it inconvenient to eat at the ceremonies!)
- Wet tissues (or even baby wipes!) for stains and freshening up
- Evian spray to keep your face fresh and to cool down!
- Spare contact lenses if you wear them, and eye drops to beat
eye make-up irritation
