Hi all, I just went to a newly open nail salon at Blk 407, Ang Mo Kio Ave 10, #01-757.
Their mani+pedi is only at $39 plus 2 free nail arts for hands and feet. The salon design is very cozy and unique…is indeed a good place to relax and pamper yourself.

Their nail arts skill is the most impressive part cos they actually hire an award-winner manicurist fr China (award winner in China, that can prove that she’s really very well-skilled) to draw nail art for their customers…

On the spot, including me, there are 3 more customers, all were impress by their services and the nail art skill… bride-to-be or pretty ladies, wan to have pretty hands and feet, u may wana give a try to drop by there 1 day, I’m sure u will smile all the way home after the service…

Salon Name: Nail Plus Plus
Location: Blk 407, Ang Mo Kio Ave 10, #01-757, Singapore 560407 (Opposite the Industrial Park)
Contact: 64550755

After browsing thru the messages here, I decided to try Fingerwork. Was quite nervous and unsure because it's my first manicure and pedicure. But Melissa (owner of Fingerwork) was really nice - she made me comfortable, went thru different colours with me and even painted each of my nails differently until I find a colour i like (which is a mixture of 2 different colours). The nails were properly cleaned, massaged and painted. However, I somehow managed to screw up the paint on 1 fingernail twice (went to the ladies) and a toe nail once (my bf stepped on it) and she kindly reworked the paint on both nails with all smiles and no complaint (despite having paid and left the place). I am really glad to have found her contact in this forum and am planning to hold a bridal shower at her place right before my wedding :-)

Hi joanne,
I've been a loyal customer at Fingerwork for several years now. Melissa and her staff are very good at what they do and the ambience is most relaxing. Yes, it is cosy. I go there often with a few good friends we always have a fabulous time getting our nails done. Melissa also does body massages and body scrubs. I highly recommend Fingerwork!

I'm confused by all the different descriptions

what is the difference between FULL manicure/pedi and BASIC?

some uses the term CLASSIC manicure/pedi. Is it the same as basic?

is nail art included in FULL mani/pedi?

Full, Classic mostly mean File/shape , Cuticles cleaning, scrub [maybe], massage, base coat, 1 color varnish, 1 top coat

Nail art wil be additional charges

Basic can mean no massage

Express mean File/shape, base cost, varnish, top coat

hi Jolin, the price for nailart depend on wat u wish to do.. french usual u top up S$10 per pair of hands or feet, $2-$5 per finger for simple drawing, if u wanna add on gems, sparkle, all these depend then..
some places offer free basic nailart if you take their classic/full mani/pedi..
jsut go browse the shops n get their flyers..

They hv private ktv rm & lots of services cater for Hen Nite @ quite a reasonable price.
They use OPI, Anna Sui Nail Lacq.

If you gals are interested in throwing a hen's party, you can try FE the nail lounge at raffles city. The allow you to booked the place for 2-3hrs. But min 6 person. And they provide free snacks and drinks!! No additional surcharge for booking the place. Instead they give a better package price. My friend also did her gel nails there. Pretty!!!

Hi All

Was gng through the forum. il like to recommend the one i usually go to at Sin Ming Road, called teh Eden Loft Nail & Spa.

The location a bit out of the way, but it is quite cosy. And the gers are not pushy (unlike the one i went to at Toa Payoh. keep pushing).

The classic m+p comes with scrub and is only $40.

Have brought a few frens there. and they really loved the services.

:D

Have signed up a bridal package with them to do my nails.

if u gers interested, can call 65540320.

I often go to a home base salon near my house.

My manicurist is so much in detail when she do mani and pedi for me. Plus point is that her charges are so reasonable.

She never did a rush job. Since is a home base salon, I can get total privacy and feel so relax. :-)

Too bad I found her only after my PS and AD.

PM me if you interest. I also got other contact of home based salon and manicurist that do hse call.

I had a horrible mani/pedi experience at P*NC Bugis last wk before my PS. I have been there a few times and service was ok but last wk when i went, the service of the gal was terrible. She was rude and no customer service at all- asked me to wipe dry my hands myself with a dirty towel. she had to redo my nails a few times coz she smudged it,cut my cuticles untill 2 of my fingers bled and she didnt even apologise when I saw it after a while. And the best thing was she file my sole so hard that one of my blisters burst and all the blood came out but I didnt know untill I left the shop and saw blood stains on my sandals. I am never going back there or to any of its branches again! My regret was that i should have specified the manucurist instead of trusting their std.

She even did a nice photoshoot for me...
She send me this photo... So nicely done...

I paid $17 for my French Manicure...
It includes soaking my hands, cuticle remove and massage...

I didnt do pedicure as im wore covered shoes for my ROM.... But I remember her charges for pedicure is $20...

My hubby even did a manicure so that his fingers look clean and neat...
He actually not very willing to do but it was gift from me to him... So he did it...
He quite like it as it look clean at the cuticle area and his nails look shiny...
