im holding my rom at RTC on JAN 08..At first we intend to choose FEB bt near CNY..hee..

i have been to RTC..The club quite grand and nice..I will be holding my ROM ceremony in the grand ballroom..cuz i got 8 tables..If u wan see ballroom photos have to wait till JAN..haha then i can send u..bt i guess it will be too late rite? |

I seen both the private lounge n the grand ballroom
basically u dun have to do anymore decoration as it is beautifully done.

hi all
Just for ur info..i had attended weddin at rTC last nite..feedback was the food wasnt nice at all..too salty for all the dishes.. then the banquet mgr was so rude.. Reason: my bf 3 yr old niece went to throw the flower petals inside the pond.. He told the niece to pick it up from the pond rudely in a harsh tone..Pls lor, the niece onli 3 yrs old..wad if she fell inside..
Actually i will be holding my rom in RTC for my in Jan 08.. The bride told me her co-ordinator was the banquet mgr..Its a guy..Very unhelpful guy..Lucky mine is GEok Peng |

Ya the food nt nice at all..onli the sharksfin nt bad.. theirs is a 9 course dinner..dessert is mango sago..this one i no comment cuz i left earlier..the ee fu noodle i also nv try cuz everyone complain very salty.. Ee fu noodle was my bf favourite noodle..normally he can eat alot..bt he ate one bowl onli cuz very salty..
The pork rips also salty..Bt fish nt bad..gt abit fishy smell bt nt very strong so still nt bad lor..big fish.. the first dish, cold combi, very cold.. the fried scallops nt cripsy at all cuz too cold..
Sauce for the Roasted chicken also salty.. IF u ate just the white meat w/o any sauce then the chicken very nice
me n bf discuss among ourselves..PEr table is ard 900 plus to 1k..Reali nt worth the money..
Cuz the lightenings also very bright..Maybe i like dim wedding locations..hehe |

oooh...you mean the dinner banquet...
mine is buffet high-tea...i think maybe the buffet nicer??? so far, read good feedback about the high-tea buffet...
anyway, banquet dinner, most of the places i went, their food also very salty... |

hi cfay,
the package if i'm not mistaken, has changed. you can go to rtc's website and download it. we held it there in may but booked the package last yr. the tea reception was at 30++ per head, and if you book for min 50pax, get a nite's stay at the studio room. |

Hi!
Am planning on holding my ROM at the private lounge. Really really like the lounge. But was told by the executive that it can only take a max of about 40+ people. My guest list is getting longer day by day. =) And i might end up with 50+ people.
Anyone who've held their ROM there with this number of guests? Is it possible and will the room be too crowded? Appreciate any advice!

Hi Vianna,
I just ROM-ed at RTC on 14th Feb 09. I got about 50+ guests and was given Dunearn Ballroom 2. Its a big ballroom with high ceilling.
With 50+ pax, the room is still ok, not crowded.
At first, my wife and me likes the Private Lounge too. But as our list are getting bigger, the in-charge gave us a ballroom and we like it even more because we get to decorate it.

RTC was one of my consideration until we found that we don't like their food menu.. |
